Seminar Brief: The Optimization of the Body’s Performance through the Correct Intake of Certain Foods

An active lifestyle and exercise routine, along with eating well, is the best way to stay healthy.

In particular when it comes to physical exercise, nutrition can help enhance athletic performance. Eating a good diet can help provide the energy you need to finish a race, or just enjoy a casual sport or activity.

This seminar will introduce participants to the nutritional value of a healthy diet and the benefits it can bring to an athlete’s or an amateur’s physical performance.

The seminar’s topics include:

  • Introduction to food groups;
  • How much is one serving and what are the benefits (per group);
  • Hydration – what and how;
  • When should intake be increased and how to approach it;
  • Sugars – the good and the bad;
  • Meal planning – the key to optimise performance.
