Description
FBMA in collaboration with the Sea of Culture Foundation founded by Her Highness Sheikha Rowda bint Mohammed bin Khalid Al Nahyan announce the Climb the Matterhorn From Home Challenge.
A challenge designed to bring us together in conquering the summit of the Matterhorn, without leaving home.
The Challenge
Conquer the Matterhorn - from home in the UAE
The Matterhorn facts - 7,900 metres with 1,200 metres ascent
The Matterhorn at Home Challenge to complete a climb of 14,300 steps
The Guidelines
The challenge can be undertaken individually or in teams each participating at your own location for the total of 14,300 steps
- Individuals record the start and finish times
- Teams max of 5 people; each team member starts at the same time and completes the allocated number of steps per member
- Each team member records the start and finish time plus the number of steps completed.
- Team times are added together for the team total climb duration
The Criteria
Start time : Tuesday 21st April at 6am
Finish time: Tuesday 21st April at 11 pm
